Performed Safe & Sound Inspection on a 16x7 Wayne Dalton door with a Genie 2028 opener. Customer reported a suspected broken TorqueMaster spring and loose chain. Inspection revealed the TorqueMaster spring to be intact but improperly adjusted, preventing the opener from functioning correctly. Chain was confirmed loose, and a loose bolt was found at the track back hang. Hinges exhibited creaking and bearing plates produced a rhythmic squeak during operation.
