On this call, our tech removed the existing opener and extension spring system, weighed the door, and spec'd the right torsion spring for the job — a .207 gauge single spring. From there it was a full build: new cables, bearing plates, spring pad, center bearing, and a properly tensioned and balanced torsion spring. Then came the new LiftMaster 2220L chain drive opener — installed, programmed, and confirmed working before we left. Every moving part got lubed: springs, drums, rollers, hinges, rail, and bearings. Door and operator are running strong.
